I began drawing as a child using the practice to relieve my mind from the surreal horrors of my dreams and I found that with story weaving, I was able to alleviate the isolation in my waking. As I grew older, the entities I created multiplied by eons and their narratives vastly evolved. The coexistence of their narratives grew into realities and worlds. The dreams continued but they no longer tormented me for I had learned to lucid dream. They inspired me and I learned much from them. They where visions of insight from my subconscious mind and nocturnal journeys to a sacred plane in which the vast worlds I had created through my story weaving could be profoundly realized. In my artistic work, I seek to decipher the language of these dreams. The artifacts you see are echoes of rituals by which the spirits of my creation enchant nocturnal visions. The spirits whose gazes are met when faces of the artifacts are observed.
